Kathy Hsieh (she/her) is an award-winning theatre artist recently in Sound Theatre’s Gaslight (Angel Street) (Bella), Seattle Shakespeare Company’s Drum & Colours’ Hamlet (Gertrude) and As You Like It (Phebe), Book-It’s audio adventure The Three Musketeers (Constance & Kitty), and Macha Theatre Works’ Notes for My Daughter and Snow Woman. She has also worked with SIS Productions, Pratidhwani, PFP, ReAct, Seattle Rep, ACT, Intiman, Taproot, ArtsWest, Seattle Public Theater, Living Voices, WET and more.

Earl

Ronnie Hill is a local Seattle Actor/Singer. Some of his more recent work around town include appearances at Seattle Public Theater, Lakewood Theater, and Book-it Theater where he was nominated for an award for acting excellence by Seattle Theatre Writers for one of his favorite roles as Uncle Willie in Maya Angelou's I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings.

Janelle

Jennifer Faulkner (Janelle) is elated to be working on Want with this kind and talented group. Memorable Seattle roles include: Alcyone in Queenfisher (Shattered Glass), Agatha in The Moors (Dacha), Margarita in The Master and Margarita (theater simple) and Faeriestruck (Annex). Up next for Jennifer is Meet Me at Dawn at 18th & Union (Radial Theatre). She wishes to thank her most essential family members (Jonathan, Lucille and Cash) for their generous love and support.

Director

Maureen Hawkins has enjoyed directing shows for some of Seattle’s small stages and in area schools over the last several decades. As an Equity actress, she has performed on many Seattle stages including Seattle Rep, ACT, Intiman, Village, Parley, Woman Seeking and Empty Space Theatres. A proud member of SAG/AFTRA, she is also a voice and screen actor. Having directed a Zoom reading of Want (then titled Familiar Kill) in 2021, she is honored to help bring Babs Lindsay’s thoughtful play to live theatre audiences. Maureen’s gratitude and admiration go to Rebecca for her intelligent and diligent building of Shattered Glass and to Babs for her beautiful writing and her generous input and encouragement.

Playwright

Barbara Lindsay’s first full length play won the NY Drama League’s 1989 Playwriting Award and was given its premiere production in London in 1991. Since then there have been more than 400 performances of her plays, monologues, and screenplays in 33 States, 13 countries, and on every continent except Antarctica. Scenic Designer

Bella Rivera (they/she) is a Latine scenic and props designer. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Seattle University. Bella began their theatre journey in high school and has since worked on productions as a Scenic Paint Lead, Fine Arts Painting Lead, Scenic Carpenter, Assistant Designer, Props Designer, and Scenic Designer. Recent credits include work with The Shattered Glass Project, Elgalen Productions, Seattle Public Theater, ArtsWest, and Seattle Shakespeare Company. bellariveradesign.com

Alison is a multidisciplinary theatre artist specializing in directing, stage management, and sound design. Recent projects: Intiman's Two Mile Hollow , and All New Cells and Gallery of Perspective and Light, both with The Shattered Glass Project. Lighting Design

Carolina is excited to join the Shattered Glass Project for their first production and to continue getting back into the swing of lighting stages! Carolina’s work could be seen recently in Reboot’s production of Cabaret with Theatre off Jackson. Design highlights from the olden days before we all became epidemiologists include The Brothers Paranormal with Pork Filled Productions, Sweeney Todd with Reboot and Silhouette and Rovers! at Annex Theater. Intimacy Director

Jess K Smith (she/her) is a freelance director, intimacy director with Pacific Northwest Theatrical Intimacy, Founding Artistic Director of ARTBARN, and Chair and Associate Professor of Theatre at the University of Puget Sound. She creates work which has been featured on stages in New York, Seattle, Portland, Anchorage, on the streets of Prague, and in a black box in Cape Town. Costume Design

Eliane Rodriguez (she/her) is a Seattle-based collaborator, actress, and designer. Design credits include Graffiti Dance at Western Summer Theatre, Better Days: A Devised Piece, and HO_E. Eliane believes clothes and visual communication are an authentic expression of our souls and imagination. She holds a BA from Western Washington University and double majored in Communication Studies and Theater with a concentration in performance. Eliane thanks God, her family, and her collaborators.

Photography

Kirk is an architect, photographer and filmmaker based in Seattle, Washington. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech in 1993. His photographic work examines environments that humans construct for themselves, their uses, intimacies, and implications, and how time imprints and alters these relationships. His ongoing project on the Duwamish River is a direct result of these interests, as well as an extension of years spent on the industrialized rivers of his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Graphic Design

Lara Kratz is a Seattle-based graphic designer with a career that spans over 20 years of work with major Seattle-area brands, but also has a background in theatre, including Ferndale Repertory Theater, and Redwood Curtain Theatre in California, participating as an actress, stage manager, and in both costume and scenic design. She served on the TSGP board from 2019-2020. Lara is proud to be a part of The Shattered Glass Project, because she firmly believes in advocating for the increased representation of women in the theatre world, both on stage and behind the scenes.

Fight Choreography

Morgan Grody is a fight choreographer, stunt performer, and actor. His work aims to reveal the true gravity of violence, from its effect on the body to its impacts on witnesses and communities at large. Morgan is also a proud Cornish College of the Arts and International Stunt School alum. He has been choreographing locally since 2016 and is pursuing a Stage Combat teaching certificate to make combat training more accessible for performers.

Scenic Design & Carpentry Intern

Kevyn Jordon-McKind (she/her) is currently working on getting her BFA in Performance Production with an emphasis in Technical Direction at Cornish College of the Arts. Some of her skills include carpentry, scenic design, and scenic painting. Though she is pursuing technical direction she is enthusiastic about all scenic elements in theater. When not working on productions you can find her teaching her rabbit tricks, learning new crafts, and watching musicals.
