A note from the playwright that we will be leaning into with this production: “I don’t mean for these characters to live in sentimentality, even if the things they say might sound sentimental- It’s more that they are discovering these things.”

I will miss you when you’re gone - Designers, Stage Manager and crew
I will miss you when you’re gone, written by Jessica Moss and directed by Adrian Prendergast, will run March 5-21, 2026 (performance venue TBA - we’ve been offered a slot but haven’t signed the contract yet.) Auditions will be announced in August. Production meetings begin in October 2025; rehearsals begin in late January 2026.
What’s the play about?:
I will miss you when you’re gone is a comedy about sad things for 4 women and a roomba. Celeste tries to contact her dead mother Theresa, but instead is haunted by Evelyn. Evelyn jumped off the top of her office building, run by Robin. Robin just wants to get these files in order, until the spirit of Theresa shows up. A “lonesome country song about grief and bureaucracy.”
